Mr Wayde Walker
As a proud Gamilaraay man, living and raised on Wonnarua land, Wayde has an impressive background Administration and Management, having worked in a variety of Private and Government companies, with a high focus on medical administration.
Wayde has sat on the Board of Directors for the Australian Institute of Office Professionals since 2019, and has also been involved with various Boards and Management Committees. Wayde sits on the Skills Council for Business and Technology for TAFE NSW.
Wayde has also been involved in St John Ambulance from a very young age has held many positions throughout the organisation through to State Staff Officer, and has led the State in deployments for the NSW Bushfires 2019/2020 and Covid-19 Initial Deployments, working with the NSW Rural Fire Service and NSW Health Disaster Management teams.
Wayde has a passion for Finance, Governance, Workplace Health & Safety, Disaster Management and Recovery.
Wayde’s skills will be a valuable asset to the AFRF and the AFRF Management Board.
